2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: Your name, email address, and password when you create an account.
• Identity Data: Information related to the virtual identities you register (names, visuals, descriptions, classifications).
• Payment Information: We use Stripe to process payments. We do not store your credit card details on our servers.
• Usage Data: Information on how you access and use the Site (e.g., IP address, browser type, pages visited) via cookies and analytics.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the VIR service and Public Register.
• To certify and timestamp your digital assets using InfoCert Qualified Trust Services (QTS).
• To process transactions and manage your subscription.
• To comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud.

4. International Data Transfers

Aidolverse LLC is based in the United States. If you are accessing the Site from the European Economic Area (EEA) or other regions with laws governing data collection and use, please note that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers, including the use of Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) where applicable by our data processors.

5. Data Retention

We keep your personal data for as long as you keep an account with us. We do not delete accounts automatically after a fixed period.

• Active accounts: your account information and the identities you register are kept while your account exists, so that you keep access to your certificates.
• Deactivated accounts: if you deactivate your account, access is locked and your identities are removed from the Public Register immediately. Your data is kept so that you can restore the account later, and it is not deleted until you ask for permanent deletion.
• Permanent deletion: when you delete your account permanently from your account settings, or ask us to delete it at support@virtualidentityregister.com, your account, the identities you registered and their images are removed from our systems.
• Certificates already delivered: a certificate you have already received, for example the PDF sent to you by email, stays in your possession. Deleting your account removes your data from our systems; it does not recall copies already delivered to you.
• Payment records: payment and invoicing records are held by our payment processor, Stripe, and are retained by them for as long as required by applicable tax and accounting law.
• Database backups: for up to 6 hours after deletion, data can still be restored through Neon's point-in-time restore. After that window it can no longer be restored.
